Television - News - BBC criticised over 75 Tennant appearances - Digital Spy

Clearly this man watches TV a bit to much..how about finding something important to gripe about instead of the fact that he thinks David Tennant shows up to much..without this much of an overdose the Tennant fangirls will rush the BBC in a massive attack!

James mays lego house

This can only be described as what I used to think about as a kid..a whole house made of lego bricks..and of course James May was the man to head the whole thing..this proves that James May and I are one in the same...

Several stupid stories

ONE
Recently, when I went to McDonald's I saw on the menu that you could
have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets.
I asked for a half dozen nuggets.
'We don't have half dozen nuggets,' said the teenager at the counter.
'You don't?' I replied.
'We only have six, nine, or twelve,' was the reply.
'So I can't order half dozen nuggets, but I can order six?'
'That's right.'
So I shook my head and ordered six McNuggets (Unbelievable but sadly
true....)

TWO
I was checking out at the local Walmart with just a few items and the
lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I picked up one
of those 'dividers' that they keep by the cash register and placed it
between our things so they wouldn't get mixed.
After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up the 'divider',
looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it..
Not finding the bar code, she said to me, 'Do you know how much this
is?'
I said to her 'I've changed my mind; I don't think I'll buy that today.'

She said 'OK,' and I paid her for the things and left.
She had no clue to what had just happened.

THREE
A woman at  work was seen putting a credit card into her  floppy drive
and pulling it out very  quickly.
When I inquired as to what she was doing, she said she was shopping on
the Internet and they kept asking for a credit card number, so she was
using the ATM 'thingy'
(keep shuddering!!)

FOUR
I recently  saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her  car. 'Do you
need some help?' I asked.
She replied, 'I knew I should have replaced the battery to this remote
door unlocker. Now I can't get into my car. Do you think they (pointing
to a distant convenience store) would have a battery to fit this?'
'Hmmm, I don't know. Do you have an alarm, too?' I asked.
'No, just this remote thingy,' she answered, handing it and the car keys
to me.  As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied,
'Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries. It's a
long walk...'
PLEASE just lay down before you hurt yourself!!!

FIVE
Several years  ago, we had an Intern who was none too swift. One day she
was typing and turned to a secretary and said, 'I'm almost out of typing
paper. What do I do?' 'Just use paper from the photocopier', the
secretary told her. With that, the intern took her last remaining blank
piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make five
'blank' copies.

SIX
A mother  calls 911 very worried asking the dispatcher if  she needs to
take her kid to the emergency room,  the kid had eaten ants. The
dispatcher tells her to give the kid some Benadryl and he should be
fine, the mother says, 'I just gave him some ant killer......'
Dispatcher: 'Rush him in to emergency!'

Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid!!!!

Frogmans view on pills

thefrogman.me "thefrogumblelog" - I take drugs. Legal ones of course.

I agree with this completely of course. If they can make kids pills taste good then why not adults?

Service

I got this in an email and thought you would all appreciate it.

Service
I   was confused when I heard the word  'service' when used  with these agencies.

Internal  Revenue  'Service'
U.S.   Postal  'Service'
Telephone  'Service'
Cable  TV  'Service'
Civil   'Service'
State,  City, County &  Public   'Service'
Customer  'Service'

This  is not what I  thought 'service'  meant.

But  today, I overheard two farmers talking, And one of them said
he had hired a bull to 'service'  a few cows.

BAM!!!   It all came into focus.
Now  I understand what all  those
Agencies are doing to us.
Now  you are as enlightened as I am.

Christmas acording to Ben Stein (read it all..it's worth it)

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish.  And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees, Christmas trees..  I don't feel threatened.  I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are, Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me.  I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto.  In fact, I kind of like it
.  It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu.  If people want a creche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians.  I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period.  I have no idea where the concept came from, that America is an explicitly atheist country.  I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him?  I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too.  But there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different:  This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Hurricane Katrina)..  Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response.  She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.  And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out.  How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc.  I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.  Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school..  The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself.  And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave, because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide).  We said an expert should know what he's talking about.  And we said okay..

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out.  I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.  Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing..  Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Girl dies while tweeting in bathtub..or was she?

Gizmodo - Girl Dies by Electrocution While Twitting in Bathtub, Apocalypse Draws Nearer - Girl Dies Twitter Bathtub

There is an intersting thing about this article I would like to point out..if you read the actual article here there is no mention of twitter..only a screenshot of the site which could just stand as a computer shot rather than saying that she was tweeting. I'm not questioning this fully as I don't know the full story but they would not know what she was doing anyway since the computer would be fried after getting dropped in the tub. All I'm saying is a news source like Gizmodo should watch if indeed they did make this mistake.

post office discriminates aginst gamefly?

Gamefly Accuses Postal Service of “Discrimination” | Technologizer

If this story is true then competition has just come full circle. Blockbuster and Netflix deliver movies and get normal treatment but gamefly gets snubbed?
