School used student laptop webcams to spy on them at school and home Boing Boing
Ok seriously..one as a student i would wonder why they gave me a laptop with a webcam built in and two..even before this story i would be incredibly paranoid..its why my laptop doesn't have a webcam built in..i have one somewhere i can plug in if i need to do a webcall..which with my bandwidth is almost impossible for a decent amount of time...yes obviously im angry at this story..the school had no right to do this at all.
